A day-long workshop on ‘Revised Process Document for SRP-SREP Dialogue on ICAAP under BASEL-II Framework’ was held at Exim Bank Training and Research Academy in Dhaka recently.

Dr. Md Haider Ali Miah, Managing Director of Exim Bank Ltd, presided over the workshop, said a press release.

Md Fakhrul Islam, Principal of the academy, Md Humayun Kabir, CFO and SEVP and high officials of the bank delivered speech on the topic.

National Bank Limited (NBL) arranged an orientation programme for its newly-recruited probationary officers at the bank’s training institute in Dhaka recently.

A total of 88 probationary officers attended the orientation programme, said a press release.

Premier Bank organised a day-long training programme on ‘Imperatives of Information Security in Banking Operation’ at its training institute in the city recently.

The training was part of a series of training for all levels of employees of the bank to create awareness about IT security.

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited organised a day-long workshop on “Online Foreign Exchange Transaction Reporting” at its head office in Dhaka recently.

Officials from different branches and head office participated in the workshop, said a press release on Wednesday.

Md. Awlad Hossain was present as chief guest at the workshop.

M Fakhrul Alam

M Fakhrul Alam has been made the managing director (current charge) of ONE Bank on Wednesday, said a press release.  

Prior to this appointment, he was the additional managing director of the bank. Before joining ONE Bank, Fakhrul was the deputy managing director of Eastern Bank.

An MBA from IBA, Dhaka University, Fakhrul

started his career at Agrani Bank as an officer in 

1983. He has also worked for IFIC Bank and Bank of Credit & Commerce Int’l (Overseas).
