Shakti Foundation sign salary payment deal with DBBL
Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL) and Shakti Foundation signed an agreement on Mobile Banking Services at head office of DBBL recently, says a press release.
Under this agreement, employees of Shakti Foundation will receive their monthly salaries in their DBBL Mobile Banking Accounts. After receiving their salaries in their mobile accounts, employees will be able to withdraw/ deposit cash from any nearby agent or DBBL branches, withdraw money from any DBBL ATM, transfer money to other mobile accounts, buy goods and services from retailers and pay utility bills throughout the country and moreover will get the opportunity of "Banking with a bank".
The agreement was signed by Dr Humaira Islam, founder and executive director of Shakti Foundation, and K S Tabrez, managing director of DBBL.
Syeda Obaida Haque, Mahfuzur Rashid, Nazmul Ahsan and Shariful Islam, senior directors of Shakti Foundation, Abul Kashem Md Shirin, deputy managing director of DBBL and Mir Mominul Huq, head of mobile banking division of DBBL were also present.

Prime Bank signs deal with HSBC
Quazi ASM Anisul Kabir, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Prime Bank Ltd, and Ahmed Saiful Islam, Chief Operating Officer of HSBC, exchange documents at the bank's head office in Dhaka Wednesday.
Prime Bank Limited has signed an agreement with HSBC on cash collection services.
As per the deal, the clients of HSBC will be able to use all the 121 footsteps of PBL across the country for collecting money of HSBC's Cash Management Customers, said a press release.

Robi signs deal with MTBL
Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer of Robi and Md Ahsan-uz Zaman Additional Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTBL) exchange documents after signing an agreement at MTB head office at Gulshan in Dhaka Tuesday.
Robi Axiata Limited signed a corporate agreement on “Nationwide Collection Service” with Mutual Trust Bank Limited on Tuesday.
Mahtabuddin Ahmed, Chief Financial Officer of Robi and Md Ahsan-uz Zaman Additional Managing Director of Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTBL) signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, said a press release.
This online collection service system will benefit the Robi customers by updating their bill payment instantly.
Among others, from Robi, Dewan Nazmul Hasan, Vice President, Md Shahedul Alam, Head of Corporate Finance, VP – Legal and Compliance, Md Badar Uddin Sabery, Manager Treasury, Md.Abdur Rahim Khan were present at the deal signing ceremony.

IFIC Bank-BB deal on SME financing
Sukomol Sinha Chowdhury, General Manager, SME and Special Programmes Department of Bangladesh Bank, and Mohammad Abdullah, Managing Director of IFIC Bank, exchange documents after signing an agreement at the central bank premises. Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman is also seen.
IFIC Bank Limited and Bangladesh Bank (BB) recently signed an agreement on utilising JICA-assisted funds in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sector in the country.
As per the agreement, IFIC Bank Limited will avail of re-financing facility from the central bank revolving fund to lend money for the development of SMEs, said a press release.
