Bank Asia branch in Moulvibazar

Bank Asia, a private commercial bank, has inaugurated a branch in Moulvibazar district yesterday.

A Rouf Chowdhury, chairman of Bank Asia, formally inaugurated the branch. M Safwan Chowdhury and M Lakiotullah, vice chairmans of the bank, Shah Mohammad Nurul Alam, its director, and Irfanuddin Ahmad, president and managing director, were also present.

Customers of the bank will avail ATM and on line banking facilities from the branch along with other modern banking services, said a press release.

Bank Asia, launched in 1999, offers various types of banking facilities which include Islami banking, brokerage services, SME banking and ATM and internet banking.

Bank Asia opens branch in Sunamganj

Bank Asia opened its 49th branch at Jagannathpur, unamganj from on Thursday.

Mohd Safwan Choud-hury, Vice Chairman of the bank inaugurated the branch. Erfanuddin Ahmed, president and managing director of the bank was present on the occasion, said a press release.

Members of the business community, local elite and a large number of people also attended the function. The branch of the bank has all the modern banking facilities including on-line banking and ATM.

Starting its operation in 1999, Bank Asia is one of the most innovative banks in the country’s banking sector, Mohd Safwan Choudhury said adding that the bank offers a wide range of financial services that covers the entire spectrum of banking operations.

In addition, it has launched Islami banking, brokerage, SME banking, SMS banking, ATM and internet banking under its online platform to deliver the highest standard of service to its clientele, ably supported by the use of state-of-the-art technology, he added.

In addition to 49 branches, there are 10 SME Service Centres and 1 SME/Krishi Branch of the bank

AIBL's 78th branch at Narsingdi

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) opened its 78th branch at Panchdona in Narsingdi recently, said a press release. Member of Al-Arafah Islami Bank Foundation and Director of AIBL Capital Market Services Ltd Engr Khandoker Mesbahuddin Ahmed inaugurated the branch as the chief guest.

AIBL Managing Director Ekramul Hoque delivered the welcome address. Among others, vice presidents of the bank Engr Md Habib Ullah and Abed Ahmed Khan and First Assistant Vice President Jalal Ahmed were present at the inaugural ceremony. Directors of the bank Harun-ar-Rashid Khan and Sabrina Farah Ahmed, Founder Chairman AZM Shamsul Alam, president of Narsingdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry AK Fazlul Haque and social worker Doctor Khandoker Mohiuddin Ahmed also addressed the inaugural function.

Local elite, businessmen and clients of the bank attended the function. Manager of the branch Shahidul Islam thanked the audience, the release added.

New Branch of Southeast Bank in Narayanganj & Narsingdi

Another leading bank of Bangladesh, Southeast Bank Limited recently expanded its branch network further by opening its 73d and 74th Branch consequently to Madanpur & Narsingdi. Mr. Zakir Ahmed Khan, Financial Adviser of Southeast Bank Limited formally inaugurated the Branches as Chief Guest. Rupali Bank opens branch at Noyatola

Rupali Bank Ltd has opened a branch at Noyatola in the capital on Sunday.

Local lawmaker Asad- uzzaman Khan Kamal formally inaugurated the branch at Modhubagh of Moghb- azar, said a press release.

Mahabubur Rahman Hiron, director of the bank,

Abu Md Sayedul Islam, deputy general manager of bank’s head office, several zonal heads and branch managers of the bank were also present on the occasion.
