Islami Bank Training and Research Academy (IBTRA) organised a workshop on ‘Investment Risk Management (IRM) and Relationship Manager (RM)’ at the academy premise in Dhaka Saturday.

Some 90 executives and officers of the bank participated in the training course.

Bangladesh Bank on Friday declared to keep some of the departments in all its branch offices on Saturday in a bid to support the disbursement of salaries to readymate garment (RMG) workers through commercial banks.

In a circular, the BB authority said all the branches of the central bank will keep the relevant departments, including Cash Department, Clearing House, DAB (Deposit Accounts Department) and PAD (Public Accounts Department), open on Saturday for facilitating the salary disbursement.

The decision has been taken appreciating the move by the commercial banks to provide the services through their branches in Dhaka, Savar, Ashulia, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Chittagong area on the weekly holiday.
