Prime Bank launches reward card

Md Ehsan Khasru, Managing Director and CEO of Prime Bank, inaugurates reward card at the bank's head office in Dhaka recently.

 

Prime Bank Limited launched a reward card with the slogan "use credit card, win rewards" at the bank's head office in Dhaka recently.

Md Ehsan Khasru, Managing Director and CEO of the bank, inaugurated the reward card, said a press release.

Ahmed Kamal Khan Chowdhury and Md Yasin Ali, DMDs, Kazi Mahmood Karim, Head of SME SEVP, Amir Hossain Majumder, Head of Cards SVP, of the bank attended.

Rupali Bank installs remittance software

Rupali Bank Ltd has introduced its own online remittance software in more than 500 branches to accelerate remittance inflow. Rupali Bank has taken this initiative to improve the standard of service and to collect more remittance through banking channel in a legitimate way, sources said.

While talking, Rupali Bank Managing Director M. Farid Uddin said, “We have started overall business development following the different indicators. Remittance business is mentionable one of them. We are encouraging expatriates’ wage earners.”

Meanwhile, Ruapli Bank is making transaction with famous remittance companies like Al-Raji Bank in KSA, Al Amudi Exchange Company, UAE Express Money, Al-Ansary Cash Express and Tarbo Cash, Managing Director of the bank added.

Nurun Newaz re-elect chairman of NCC Bank

Md. Nurun Newaz Salim has been re-elected Chairman of NCC Bank Limited for the 3rd term.

The board of the bank also elected ASM Mainuddin Monem as vice chairman of the bank

The election was held at the Board of Directors of the bank recently, said a press release.

Chairman Nurun Newaz, a sponsor director of the bank is an eminent industrialist and entrepreneuar of the country. Earlier, he was Vice Chairman of the bank and chairman of the Executive Committee of the board.

Salim is the former chairman of Central Insurance Co. Ltd. as well as Senior Vice President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries and President of Feni Zilla Samity in Chittagong.

Newaz re-elected NCC Bank chairman

Md Nurun Newaz Salim has recently been re-elected the chairman of NCC Bank, said a press release. 
While ASM Mainuddin Monem has been elected the vice-chairman.


Nurun Newaz is the senior vice-president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries and president of Feni Zilla Samity in Chittagong. He is also the chairman of Electro Mart and Trade International Marketing.


ASM Mainuddin Monem did his BBA from Boston University and later earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, USA.

He is the deputy managing director of Abdul Monem and a member of the Board of Trustees of Independent University of Bangladesh.

Bank Asia shifts Scotia branch

Sunil Kanti Bose, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, and A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of Bank Asia, inaugurate the newly-shifted branch at Rangs Bhaban at Bijoy Sharoni in Dhaka on Sunday.

 

Bank Asia shifted its Scotia branch to a new location at Rangs Bhaban at 171/A, Old Air Port Road, Bijoy Sarani, Tejgaon in Dhaka on Sunday.

Sunil Kanti Bose, Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, and A Rouf Chowdhury, Chairman of Bank Asia, inaugurated the newly-shifted branch, said a press release.

AM Nurul Islam and Mohammed Lakiotullah, Vice Chairmen, Rumee A Hossain and Shah Mohammad Nurul Alam, Directors, Aminul Islam, Managing Director (Current-Charge) of the bank, Zakia Rouf Chowdhury and Amanullah Chowdhury, industrialists, attended the function.
