AB Bank Limited has arranged an awareness session on Green Banking at a hotel in Chittagong on recently.

Shamim Ahmed Chowdhury, DMD of the bank inaugurated the session, said a press release.

Branch managers, green monitors, branch officials and a number of bank customers attended the programme.

Trust Bank Limited and mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited signed an agreement on mobile financial services.

Michael Kuehner, Managing Director and CEO of Robi and Ishtiaque Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director of Trust Bank Ltd, inked the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at the Robi Corporate Office in Dhaka on Monday, said a press release.

Under the agreement, Robi will act as a facilitator for distribution network and Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD) provision for Trust Bank Mobile Money Service. The service will be launched very soon.
