PBL relocates Mehedibagh branch
Pubali Bank Limited (PBL), Mehedibag branch of Chittagong, was recently shifted to new premise to provide better and modern banking services.
Md Sirajul Islam Miah, regional manager of Pubali Bank Chittagong north presided over the function, said a press release.
Md Fazlul Haque, general manager of the bank was also present as a special guest.
Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury, deputy managing director of the bank inaugurated the new premises as the chief guest.
Safiul Alam Khan Chowdhury said that Pubali Bank is committed to provide the best and innovative banking services for the clients. As a part of providing better services and to remove clients demand the bank has shifted its Patia branch.
He expressed his hope that Pubali Bank would surely serve its customers with utmost satisfaction by applying modern technology through this branch.

DBBL opens new branch at Ashkona in city
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited opened its 102nd branch at Ashkona, Dakshin Khan in the city recently. KS Tabrez, managing director of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited formally inaugurated the branch. The new branch of the bank will provide actual on-line banking facilities to the customers of the bank. KS Tabrez, managing director of the bank informed that DBBL already provides a wide array of banking products and financial services including card services to its retail and corporate customers and added that the bank has started mobile banking operation, first of this kind in the country to reach banking services to the doorsteps of the millions of rural people.
DBBL serves over 1.7 million customers throughout the country, the managing director of the bank said. Among others, Md Mosaddiqur Rahman, deputy managing director of the bank and local elites of the area were present on the occasion.

Eastern Bank opens 50th branch at CEPZ
Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) has recently opened its 50th branch at the Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ).
Customers of the bank will avail a wide range of banking services at the branch as it is equipped with ultra-modern baking facilities, said a press release.
Meah Mohammed Abdur Rahim, director of the bank, formally inaugurated the branch at Saleh Complex at the industrial zone on Sunday.
The bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ali Reza Iftekhar, Depty Managing Director Moklesur Rahman, brand and marketing Head Ziaul Karim and Md. Musa, manager of the new branch, among others, were present on the occasion.
The EBL will open nine more branches at various parts in the country during the current fiscal, the statement said.

DBBL opens 101st branch in Sylhet
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) has opened its 101st branch at Ambarkhana in Sylhet recently. Customers of the bank will avail most up-to-date online banking facilities at the branch like other branch network of the bank, said a press release.
KS Tabrez, managing director of the bank, formally inaugurated the branch at Laise Super Market in the Sylhet city’s Kotwali area on Sunday. Prof Md Saleh Uddin, vice-chancellor of Shahjajal University of Science and Technology (SUST), among others, was also present on the occasion.In his speech, Tabrez said DBBL provides a wide array of banking products and financial services including card services to its retail and corporate customers in the country. The bank has started mobile banking operation, first of this kind in the country to reach banking services to the door steps of rural people in the country. The bank also provides enhanced banking services to its customers through a variety of delivery channels like ATMs, Fast Tracks besides branch networks at important places in the country, he added. SUST VC Saleh Uddin said the bank is not only fulfilling present-day customer needs but also the bank spends a significant portion of its profit towards wellbeing of the society.

Al-Arafah Bank opens branch at Shahjadpur
Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd opened its 79th branch at Shahjadpur in Sirajganj on Sunday.
Member of the Board of Directors of Al-Arafah Islami Bank M Harun-Ar-Rashid Khan inaugurated the branch as chief guest while Director of the Bank Abdul Malek Mollah was present as special guest.
Managing Director of the Bank Ekramul Hoque delivered welcome speech in the opening ceremony, said a press release.
