Mosharaf Hossain - Rabiul Hossain

Md Mosharaf Hossain was promoted to Deputy Managing Director of Uttara Bank Limited recently.

Prior to this new position, he was Executive General Manager of the bank, said a press release. He started his career in Uttara Bank Limited as a probationary officer in 1987.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Rabiul Hossain was also promoted to DMD of Uttara Bank Limited. Prior to this he was the Executive General Manager of the bank. Rabiul Hossain started his banking career in Uttara Bank Limited as a Probationary Officer in 1987.

Md Habibur Rahman joined the Al-Arafah Islami Bank as its managing director on Monday, said a press release. 

Earlier, he was the deputy managing director of Islami Bank Bangladesh.

 
A former student of Dhaka University, Habibur started his banking career as a probationary officer of Sonali Bank in 1978 and then joined Islami Bank as a senior officer in 1983. 

MM Haikal Hashmi joined IFIC Bank as its deputy managing director and chief risk officer on Monday, said a press release. 

Prior to joining IFIC Bank, Haikal was the DMD and chief risk officer of Trust Bank. 
He started his career as a probationary officer of IFIC Bank in 1986.

He has also worked for Dhaka Bank, Mashreq Bank, American Express Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, ANZ Grindlays Bank and Banque Indosuez at home and abroad.

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) inaugurated the 91st branch at Chougacha in Jessore recently.

Md. Sayedur Rahman, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank inaugurated the branch as chief guest, said a press release.

Shafiqur Rahman, Managing Director of the bank presided over the programme.

Salim Reza Aoulia, Mayor, Chougacha Pourashava, AMM Farhad, DMD, SIBL, senior executives from the bank’s head office and local businessmen were present on the occasion.

 Union Bank Limited organized a workshop on Bangladesh Automatic Clearing House (BACH) System Operation and Maintenance at the head office of the bank at Gulshan Avenue in Dhaka recently.

Abdul Hamid Miah, Managing Director of Union Bank Limited and Humayun Kabir, General Manager of Bangladesh Bank were present at the workshop, said a press release.

SAM Salimullah, Senior Executive Vice-President of Union Bank Ltd, Mokammel Hoque Chowdhury, Branch Manager, Gulshan Branch spoke at the workshop where officers from different levels were present.

Through this workshop officers of the bank will be capable of processing online check with all the other banks.
