Economic Reporter :A three-day long training on 'Islamic Ideology, Courtesy and Customer Service' was held at Al-Arafah Islami Bank Training and Research Institute on Sunday.Managing Director of the Bank Md. Habibur Rahman inaugurated the workshop as chief guest. Principal of the Institute Nurul Islam Khalifa presided over the ceremony while faculty member of the institute Towhid Siddique was also present.Al-Arafah Islami Bank always ensures compliance with all the guidance of Shariah as well as prioritizes customer service first, said Habibur Rahman.He suggested all the participants to implements the knowledge acquired from the training in their respective practical work field.

Probationary officers of National Bank Limited pose with Md Badiul Alam, Managing Director (current charge) of the bank, and other high-officials at the concluding ceremony of a foundation training course at National Bank Training Institute in the capital recently. A total number of 34 probationary officers participated at the training.

National Bank  Training Institute has recently conducted a week long training course titled ‘Managers Induction Course’ for newly posted branch managers and for the executives and officers, who have the potentialities for becoming branch managers, issued in a press release. Shamsul Huda Khan, Managing Director and CEO of National Bank Limited was present in the closing ceremony of the course as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. A total number of 38 executives and officers of different grades of the bank attended the course as participants.

Jahangir Bin Hamid, Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources Division of the bank, Md. Majibur Rahman, Principal of the Training Institute, Hari Narayan Das and Farzana Haque, Sr. Faculties were present among others at the inaugural and closing ceremony.

AB Bank Limited (ABBL), in association with Services for Professional Education and Enterprise Development (SPEED) organised a 8-week training on “Business English Course” for the officials of the bank.

The programme was organised focusing on speaking, reading, writing and listening to enhance business communication skills of the bank officials, said a press release.

Shamim A. Chaudhury, President and Managing Director of ABBL inaugurated the first session of the course at a function held at AB Bank Training Academy in Dhaka recently.

Syeda Madiha Murshed, Executive Director, SPEED was also present.
