Three state-owned banks donate Tk 2 crore to PM's Relief Fund
Three state-owned banks of the country on Monday donated Taka two crore to the Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.
Agrani Bank donated Tk one crore, while Sonali Bank and Rupali Bank donated Tk 50 lakh each, PM's Deputy Press Secretary M Nazrul Islam said.
Chairman of Agrani Bank Zahid Bakht and Managing Director M Shamsul Islam handed over the cheque for Tk one crore to the prime minister at her Jatiya Sangsad office.
Sonali Bank Chairman Ashraful Moqbul and Managing Director Obaidullah Al Masud and Rupali Bank Chairman Monzur Hossain and Managing Director AtaurRahman Pradhan handed their respective banks' cheques to Sheikh Hasina.
