SIBL shifts Khatunganj branch

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) recently shifted its Khatunganj branch at new premises aimed at providing best and modern banking services to its customers.

Al-haj Nasiruddin, Chairman of the board of directors of the bank, inaugurated the newly-shifted branch as the chief guest, said a press release.

Kamaluddin Ahmed, and Md Shah Alam, former chairmen, Mohammad Azam and Md Fazle Morshed, directors of the bank attended the function.

BCBL opens branch in city

Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) opened its 32nd branch at Nawabgonj in Dhaka Monday.

A Q Siddiqui, Chairman of board of directors of BCBL, inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, said a press release.

S A Chowdhury, CEO and Managing Director and Dr. Muhammad Asaduzzaman, Deputy Managing Director of the Bank attended the ceremony.

BASIC Bank branch opens in Shyamoly

Sheikh Abdul Hai Bachchu, Chairman of BASIC Bank Limited, inaugurates a branch at Shyamoly in Dhaka Sunday.

The 52nd branch of BASIC Bank Limited was inaugurated at Shyamoly in Dhaka Sunday.

Sheikh Abdul Hai Bachchu, Chairman, Board of Directors of the bank formally inaugurated the branch, said a press release.

Kazi Fakhrul Islam, Managing Director of the bank presided over the function, while Jahangir Akand and Shubhashish Basu, Directors and Kanak Kumar Purkaistha, Deputy Managing Director were present.

Chairman told the audiences that the bank was established for not only to earn profit but also to serve the people during humanitarian crisis.

Managing Director said the bank already opened seven branches this year and will open 20 more branches after getting Bangladesh Bank’s permission. The bank has been extending 50 percent loans to small and medium range industries, he added.

Southeast Bank shifted Pathantula branch of Sylhet

Ragib Ali, Vice Chairman of Southeast Bank, inaugurates the newly located branch at Madina Market at Pathantula, Zalalabad Sunday.

Southeast Bank's Pathantula branch of Sylhet was shifted to Haque Mansion of Madina Market, at Pathantula, Zalalabad.

Vice Chairman of the Bank Ragib Ali inaugurated the newly located branch at a function Sunday.

Abdul Hye, director of the Bank and the representative of Karnafuli Tea Co Ltd and Bimolendu Dey, sponsor shareholder were also present at the function.

In the inaugural ceremony, Deputy Managing Director Mohammed Gofran, Senior Executive Vice President and Zonal Head of Sylhet Division Ziaus Shams Chowdhury, Vice President and Head of Pathantula branch Amjad Hussain, all head of branches of Sylhet Division, high government officials, industrialists, businessmen, customers, educationists and other bank officials were present.
