StanChart Bankdeposits Tk 503cr in exchequer

Imtiaz Ibne Sattar, Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank, hands over the last installment cheque of income tax worth Taka 80 crores to Golam Hussain, Chairman NBR and Secretary, IRD in Dhaka recently. 

Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) has paid total Taka 503 crores as advance income tax (AID) for fiscal year 2012-13.

The bank has become the second largest tax payer under Large Tax Unit (LTU) of the NBR for the said period, said a press release.

Imtiaz Ibne Sattar, Chief Financial Officer of the bank recently handed over the last installment of cheque of income tax worth Taka 80 crores to Golam Hussain, Chairman, NBR.
