National Bank hands over Tk 6cr donation cheque to PM
National Bank Limited (NBL) handed over a cheque for Tk 6 crore for the Prime Minister’s Education Support Trust, Suchana Foundation and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust, the bank said in a press statement yesterday.
Of the total amount, the bank has donated Tk 1 crore to Prime Minister’s Education Trust, Tk 1 crore to Suchana Foundation and Tk 4 crore to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust under its CSR activities.
The Director and Chairperson of the Executive Committee of National Bank Limited Parveen Haque Sikder and the Directors of the bank, Rick Haque Sikder and Ron Haque Sikder handed over the cheques to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in the capital yesterday.
