Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organised a seminar on “Economic Life of Momen in the Light of Quran: Basis of Islami Banking.” in Chittagong recently.

The bank also hosted an iftar party at a local hotel, said a press release.

Engineer Mustafa Anwar, vice chairman of the bank was present at the seminar and iftar party as chief guest and Md Abdul Mannan, managing director of the bank was the chief discussant.Khatib Sayed Md Anwar Hossain Taher Jabery Al-Madani of Andar Killa Shahi Mosque was present in the seminar as special guest. Ali Hossain Akbar Ali, chairman of BSRM, Nurul Alam Master, proprietor of A Zaman and Brothers were present as the discussants. Total 34 branch managers of Chittagong North and South zones, nearly 200 clients, businessmen, industrialists, educationists, journalists, intellectuals, religious scholars and elites of the society were present, among others, on the occasion.
