Dhaka Bank launches 3 Islamic schemes

Dhaka Bank Ltd (DBL), one of the leading private sector commercial banks in the country, launched three separate new Islamic deposit schemes.

The schemes are ‘Tawfeer Mudaraba savings Bond account’, ‘Tawfeer Mudaraba Deposit Pension Scheme and ‘Tawfeer Mudaraba foreign remittance Account’.

Managing Director of the bank Fazle Rashid, Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Maulana Mohammad Salehuddin and Chairman of Dhaka Bank Shariah Supervisory Committee M Azizul Haque jointly inaugurated the new products at a ceremony held at a hotel in Dhaka Monday.

While addressing, Maulana Mohammad Salehuddin said banking is the part of people’s daily life and if it is done through Islamic rules and regulations then it benefits them.
