Bangladesh Bank will release a commemorative note on Wednesday marking the 60th anniversary of the country’s Language Movement. Language veteran Murtaza Bashir will unveil the commemorative notes at a formal function at the central bank conference room Wednesday, according to a BB press release.

Salient features of the special note including the images of five martyred heroes of language movement on one side while the central Shahid Minar on the other side.    

These notes will be available for the customers from February 19th at all of the central bank and commercial bank branches across the country.
