Bank Asia holds business confce
The Annual Business Conference-2012 of Bank Asia was held at a hotel in the capital yesterday.
A Rouf Chowdhury, chairman of the Bank, inaugurated the conference, said a press release.
Mohd Safwan Choudhury, chairman of Executive Committee, Mohammed Lakiotullah, vice chairman, Rumee A Hossain, chairman, Board of Audit Committee, AM Nurul Islam, Sohana Rouf Chowdhury, Mashiur Rahman, Shah Md Nurul Alam, directors and Md Mehmood Husain, president and managing director among others, were present.
All the branch managers, SME/Krishi branches, SME service centres, departmental heads and senior executives of the Bank were present in the conference.

AB Bank opens cancer care lab
Majedur Rahman, additional managing director of AB Bank Limited and Maj Gen (retd.) Professor AR Khan, ex-director general of Medical Service of Bangladesh Army, inaugurate Mosabbir Cancer Care Centre Diagnostic Laboratory in the city recently.
AB Bank foundation constructed Mosabbir Cancer Care Center Diagnostic Laboratory in the city.
Additional Managing Director of AB Bank Limited Majedur Rahman and Ex- Director General of Medical Service of Bangladesh Army Major General Professor AR Khan (Retd.) jointly inaugurated the opening of the Centre recently, said a press release.

Prime Bank gives blankets to cold-hit people in Rangpur
Prime Bank Limited has distributed blankets to the cold-hit people of Mahigonj at VIP Shahadat Hossain Primary School in Rangpur recently.
Advocate Rezina Razzak, administrator of Rangpur Zila Parishad distributed the blankets as the chief guest while Shahadat Hossain, former director of Prime Bank Limited was also present as special guest on the occasion, said a press release.

Southeast Bank holds business confce
Southeast bank Limited has organized seminar on “Business Policy and Planning Conference” at hotel Ruposhi Bangla in the city recently.
Mahbubul Alam, managing director of the bank presided over the conference while Alamgir Kabir, FCA, chairman of Southeast bank was present as chief guest, said a press release.
Among others, vice chairman, Ragib Ali, directors MA Kashem, Azim Uddin Ahmed, Jusna Ara Kashem, Duluma Ahmed, Syed Shahid Ali, Rehana Rahman, Dr Zaidi Sattar, AHM Moazzem Hossain, advisor Zakir Ahmed Khan and all deputy managing directors and heads of branches and divisional heads were present at the conference.

The 468th meeting of the executive committee (EC) of the Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited was held at its head office in the city recently.
Alhaj Mohammad Hasan, chairman of executive committee of Shahjalal Bank presided over the meeting, said a press release.
The executive committee members discussed various issues relating to investment in different sectors of the Bank.
Among others, directors Alhaj Sajjatuz Jumma, Alhaj Akkas Uddin Mollah, Alhaj Engineer Md.
