Solaiman re-elected chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Ltd

Dhaka, Sept 18: Mohammed Solaiman has been re-elected as chairman of board of directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited (SJIBSL) in its 19th meeting recently, says a press release.

In the same meeting, Mohammad Farooq and Abdul Halim were re-elected as vice-chairmen of the SJIBSL. Re-elected chairman, a leading businessman Mohammed Solaiman is managing director of Paradise

Corporation and Paradise Electronics, a renowned business house in Chittagong.

He is the sponsor director and former chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited and Mercantile Insurance Co Ltd and founder director of Central Hospital Ltd, Eden Multicare Hospital and Hardco International School.

Solaiman is also involved with many social welfare and charitable organisations.


Re-elected vice-chairman Mohammad Farooq is a renowned businessman. He is managing director of Famous Group of Companies Ltd and sponsor director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited.


The other re-elected vice-chairman Abdul Halim started business after completion of his Bachelor Degree. Mr. Halim is a sponsor shareholder of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited. He is also the chairman of the Halim Group and engaged with Automobiles business.
