RAKUB to computerise its77 branches in current fiscal
Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) is going to make its 77 branches computerised during the current 2011-12 fiscal aimed at bringing more dynamism in service delivery activities.
The RAKUB authority revealed this while addressing a daylong software orientation for 18 zonal managers and officials and staffs of the selected branches held at Nanking Darbar Hall here Saturday.
Infinity Technology International Bangladesh (ITIB) and Computer Division of the Bank jointly organised the orientation programme. Addressing as chief guest Pradip Kumar Dutta, Managing Director of RAKUB, said there is no alternative to computerisation as well as networking in the current competitive banking sector and asked all concerned to make the process a total success.
Besides, he urged upon the zonal managers to bring all the computerisation together with online banking activities under close monitoring.
Besides, he said the client services should be developed through promoting RAKUB online banking like electronic banking programme keeping in mind the customers’ demands.
