Pubali Bank rewarded for remarkable role in remittance inflow

Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank Ltd, receives a crest from FBCCI President Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed at a function at a hotel in Dhaka recently.
Pubali Bank Limited (PBL) was honoured for its remarkable service support to increase the flow of inward remittance.
The Centre for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) awarded the bank at a conference titled “Recognition of NRBs and Supportive Organisations in Bangladesh” at a hotel in Dhaka recently, said a press release.
Helal Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Pubali Bank, received the award from Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, President of FBCCI.
Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor of the Bangladesh Bank attended the function as chief guest while Dan W Mozena, US Ambassador to Bangladesh was present as special guest.
Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of the Centre for NRBs, presided over the function.
Sabur Khan, President of DCCI, was present on the occasion.
