Dhaka Mercantile Co-operative Bank Limited has launched its 93rd branch at Habib Super Market in Bhola sadar with a view to offering updated banking services to the people of the island district, said a press release.

Tofael Ahmed, MP, was present at the inaugural ceremony as chief guest while former State Minister Mosharrof Hossain Sahajahan attended the function as special guest.

Bhola District Commissioner Mejbahul Islam, Police Superinten- dent Bashir Ahmed, Vhola Sadar upozilla Chairman Fajlul Kader Mojnu, among others, were also present on the occasion.

M Hamidul Hossain Tareq (Birr Bikrum), director of the bank, also attended the function, among its other officials.
