Exim Bank gives scholarship to poor students

Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman hands over a cheque for scholarship money to a student at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Wednesday.

 

Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited distributed scholarship to poor and meritorious students under its regular scholarship programme.


Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr. Atiur Rahman handed over cheques of scholarship to the students as chief guest in a programme held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Wednesday, said a press release.


Chairman of Exim Bank Md. Nazrul Islam Mazumder was present at the function as special guest while Managing Director of the Bank Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah presided over the programme.
Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank SK Sur Chowdhury spoke at the programme.


Directors Md. Abdul Mannan, MP, Habib Ullah Dawn, Nurul Amin, Mohammad Abdullah, Md Shahidullah, Md Omar Farooque Bhuiyan, Lt Col (Retd) Serajul Islam BP (BAR), Ranjan Chowdhury,

Khandakar Mohd Saiful Alam, Abdullah Al-Zahir (Shapan), DMD and executives of the head office also attended the function.
