Dhaka Bank holds training on SME banking
Dhaka Bank organised a two day long training workshop on ‘Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Banking’ at Dhaka Bank Training Institute (DBTI) in the city recently.
Khondker Fazle Rashid, managing director of Dhaka Bank Limited addressed the inauguration as the chief guest, said a press release.
A total 43 officers from different branches and head office of the bank took part in the training workshop.
Sukamal Sinha Choudh- ury, general manager for SME and special programmes department moderated the session.
Ashraful Alam and Md Monirul Hoque, joint directors for SME and special programmes department of the Bangladesh Bank were present.
Shamshad Begum, principal of Dhaka Bank Training Institute and Head of HRD spoke on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Dhaka Bank Limited signed an agreement with Rural Electrification Board (REB) to collect electricity bills of Narayanganj Pally Bidyut Samity by establishing a collection booth at Rupganj Zonal office.
Mujibur Rahman, director (Finance) of REB and Tanweer Rahim, deputy managing director of Dhaka Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.
