A five day-long eye camp was held in Hobigonj district recently with the financial assistance of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL).

The camp was organised for conducting IOL operation of 100 cataract patients to bring back their sights at Jusposh Hobigonj Eye Hospital, said a press release.

Deputy Commi-ssioner of Hobigonj Mahmud Hasan was present as the chief guest at the inauguration programme.

Among others, Shafiqur Rahman, Civil Surgeon of Hobigonj, Advocate Azizul Bari Kamal, Chairman of public health education and rural development organisation, and manager of DBBL Hobigonj branch were present.
