Dutch-Bangla Bank Ltd (DBBL) has awarded scholarship to 2,030 students as the sixth phase who passed H.S.C Examination in 2012, a press release said.

Finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, MP, handed over the scholarship awarding letters to the recipients as the chief guest at a ceremony held at Shahid Shohrawardi Indoor Stadium, Mirpur in the city on Saturday

Netherlands' ambassador to Dhaka, Gerben de Jong was the special guest of theprogramme while DBBL executive committee chairman Sayem Ahmed presided over the function. Bank's managing director KS Tabrez was also present at the function.

 

A total of Tk. 30.00 crore will be expended for awarding scholarship to the 2,030 students of this phase for their full academic period.
