The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of City Bank was held at Cox’s Bazar recently.

Rubel Aziz, Chairman of the bank presided over the meeting, said a press release.

Deen Mohammad, Hossain Khaled, Mohammad Shoeb, Syeda Shaireen Aziz, Directors, Sohail R. K. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO and senior executives of the bank and a large number of shareholders attended the meeting.

The shareholders unanimously approved a Tk 300 crore proposal for issuing Tier-II subordinated debt (Bond) to meet capital requirement under Bassel-II, subject to the approval of the regulators.
