BB to open ‘Taka Jadughar’ for visitors from next month

Taka Jadughar” is getting a new shape on the premises of Bangladesh Bank Training Academy (BBTA) with all digital facilities is expected to be ready for visitors of all ages by first week of the next month. Side by side with continuing the drive to collect old coins and paper money, efforts are on to install digital signage, touch screens and LCD monitors etc to equip the “Taka Jadughar” as a modern, prosperous, state of the art, rich in information and technology-based currency museum. It will have a very modern separate corner for children where video and games will help the future generation to be acquainted with the lifestyle, education, culture and various aspects of archaeological developments of human civilization through coins and currencies of various eras, BB executive director Dasgupta Ashim Kumar told BSS.
