BB governor for ensuring cyber security in banking system

on Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Fazle Kabir on Sunday urged the commercial bank authorities to take necessary steps to ensure cyber security in the banking system.
"Every bank should strengthen its ICT as it is taking forward the banking business. The importance of ICT in banking sector has increased side by side the rise in cyber risk," he said.
The central bank governor said this at a workshop on "Cyber Threat Readiness for Bankers" at Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) auditorium in the city.
